PROJECT: The Vermont Street Project, Portland, OR

SQUARE FOOTAGE:
Main House- 2,000 with an additional 1,000 in day-lit lower level. Studio- 680 sq ft.

DESIGN & PROJECT FEATURES: This frame is reclaimed industrial salvage Douglas fir with Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) foundation blocks and Structural Insulated Panels (SIP) roof panels. The exterior components are comprised of reclaimed redwood and barn siding, FSC and Energy Star windows and high reflectivity standing seam metal roofing. Floors are reclaimed Elm, Oak and Douglas fir. The main house features a common room with kitcfhen, dining and living area, a pantry, mmudroom, tower room, recreation room, movie nook, storage room, wine cellar, library and guest room. The studio is a home office/studio with a guest retreat (kitchenette, bath, bedroom, sleeping nook) and covered porch.
