DESIGN & PROJECT FEATURES: Normerica's Timber Frame Day Lodge will host the Snowboard and Freestyle Skiing competitions of the 2010 Winter Olympics. Designed on 3 levels, this building is enveloped with energy efficient R24 walls, R38 roof systems and low E windows. The roof breaks into large gables at the areas where doors need protection from the falling snow and to provide large windows for the natural light.
